PGI Evia Wild Fermentation red wine. Deep red colour, complex aromas of black fruit, violet, chocolate and spices. Compact and rich mouth with velvety tannins. Long and sweet aftertaste. Vinification : Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in open tank design for the ultimate expression of terroir. Maturation in Frech oak barrels of 225 liters for 12 months and 24 month aging in bottle. Bottled unfiltered.
VRINIOTI family winery was established in 2002 but their relation with wine products goes back to when Konstantinos Vrinioti’s ancestors started planting vines in the area of Evia island and built an old traditional stone winery. The construction of the modern current facilities started in 2007 and was completed in the summer of 2008. The expertise in producing exceptional traditional wines has always been based on the love for this family tradition. Today this love has become a passion which they enclose in their few and rare bottles, of their modern winery.
